Here is a list of worldwide volunteering projects run by organisations that place the interests of the volunteer and hosts first and don't make any profit off their activities. We hope that they all represent a true charitable type of volunteering that ensures that no profit is made from volunteers. Want to support grassroots social projects around the world?
Omprakash is a free network that connects volunteers and donors with
over 100 "Partner" projects in more than 30 countries. Omprakash
Partners address issues in the sectors of health and education, and they
generally seek support in the form of volunteers, material resources,
and financial donations. There are no administrative fees associated
with volunteering, and Omprakash offers competitive Volunteer Grants to
defray travel costs for prospective volunteers. Check it out:

Ecoteer is a unique volunteer opportunities agency - offering a directory of cheap volunteer work opportunities, volunteer jobs abroad and working holidays. Our volunteer opportunities are cheap because we have eliminated the middleman slashing the price to volunteer abroad for gapyears, careerbreaks and working holidays. Ecoteer is leading the way in a new type of volunteer work opportunities abroad and is changing the volunteer and working holiday industry back to what it used to be – benefiting both the volunteer and the volunteer project. Ecoteer also recommend these projects:
